Comment on Commitment. You Can Not Give What You Do Not Have by Charlotte Mabry https://swanmichelle.com/2020/01/26/commitment-you-can-not-give-what-you-do-not-have/#comment-135 Mon, 17 Feb 2020 00:09:05 +0000 https://swanmichelle.com/?p=2568#comment-135 The New Oxford American Dictionary states that the definition of commitment is the quality of being dedicated to a cause or activity. Swan Michelle’s essay on commitment inspires the ever evolving work of the inner journey to “becoming” whole. We are already whole when we can see and feel the presence of the Divine within. Our humanness can get in the way, and we forget this beautiful concept of belief. If we are whole enough, or have the desire to continue that work, love of self, security of self than we can love all others and see ourselves as ONE in doing that work to Be Love. We choose to love no matter what! That takes commitment and practice “in my opinion and experience in living life” wanting to love others, in-spite of our human flaws . I googled “How do I become invulnerable?” I love these answers: Make your goals clearer and more present to yourself. Give yourself perspective, reinforce your structure and order, continue quickly rather than stopping when you run into obstacles, and lastly make it easy to find someone to ask for advice when in doubt. We cannot be invulnerable if there is no vulnerability. Where is the balance? Open the heart way, way wide and risk when choosing to deeply love. It is worth the sting and pain, when we lose the love of the one who cannot give what they don’t have! It is my choice to continue the inner journey to the Divine Self within, continuing that journey to wholeness, and love AGAIN. I can find the balance between vulnerability and invulnerability. I believe in LOVE, thank you Michelle for continuing to make me think! Prema! “Love everyone. Tell the truth.” Neem Karoli Baba

Comment on Emotional Health: Joy in Unsavory Conditions by Charlotte Connick Mabry https://swanmichelle.com/2019/03/31/emotional-health/#comment-18 Wed, 17 Apr 2019 17:53:22 +0000 https://swanmichelle.com/?p=1733#comment-18 The practice of yoga continually brings us more and more within, a deeper discovery of the ‘basic self’ and deeper within that the integration of our mind, the adult and the child within, healing and coming together in peace. Living in balance and sending out energetic vibrations to all of those around us as love. This dharma talk and what Swan River offers us in the practice of yoga is a gift. This is continual work of healing and traveling within the mind/body. Attempting to become aware of the power of my “emotional body” and its energy field is simply a practice. Having the support with rich research, reflection, and compiling all of these resources is so appreciated. This inner journey of healing and continually discovering who we are can be “a dark painful path” at times. Having these resources to add to my own faith walk, river is so very valuable and validating. Thank you Michelle! All rivers leading to that One Ocean of Divine Love and Mercy; how can we NOT want to take on the walk, heal to that place of Joy, Michelle talks to us about. Peace and blessings upon all of your work and personal practice Michelle. Thank you for sharing this work and dedication of how you live your yoga in the Bhakti Openheartedness Spirit to serve us. I am grateful. Namaste, Charlotte

Comment on Addiction and Feeling the Pain Body by Angela https://swanmichelle.com/2019/03/07/addiction-and-feeling-the-pain-body/#comment-15 Wed, 13 Mar 2019 12:52:40 +0000 https://swanmichelle.com/?p=1533#comment-15 Dear michelle, I read this lecture and then signed up to buy it. I read the morning sadahna course instead. I didn’t realize it until it was over because I didn’t know what to expect.
After I finished part 2 of morning sadahna I then looked at the other courses and saw the addiction course on another link to be purchased separately . I’m sure it was my error but what I want it the addiction course… can you remedy this? I also sent the link to 2 other people thinking they too would like the addiction course. I’m not sure what they got, if they signed up. Please and gratitude, love, Angela
